President Lincoln & President Jackson
After moving from Maynooth Co. Kildare to Clonmellon Co. Westmeath in 2001 I purchased a President Lincoln as my base radio and a President Jackson for the car. After a few years, in 2006 I sold the Lincoln as it had outgrown its usefulness due to the fact I had passed my Ham exam and could now make use of the HF band, and UHF and VHF so upgraded to a second-hand Icom 706.
I still have the Jackson but alas do not use it anymore. I do however power it up every once and a while just for the hell of it.
